Multiple sclerosis symptoms

Multiple sclerosis symptoms vary greatly between sufferers and so specialists cannot always predict accurately what the typical symptoms of the disorder might be. New patients are told that multiple sclerosis develops differently in different people and that although there are limits to what it can do, it is not possible to know exactly what symptoms might appear at any given time.

The unpredictable nature of multiple sclerosis is part of what makes living with the disease a particularly stressful experience. No two sufferers of MS experience the same disease at the same time. One recent MS patient experienced period of tiredness and would often feel a numb tingling sensation in his fingers and toes where another patient with exactly the same age and stage of the disease was experiencing a loss of balance coupled with motor function problems. Other multiple sclerosis patients experience problems with talking and bladder complications.

To make matters more worrying, sometimes these MS symptoms can vanish completely without warning and return just as suddenly. People who are unfortunate enough to suffer from severe multiple sclerosis often have symptoms such as slurred speech, stiffness, tremors and movement problems on a permanent basis. Paralysis can even develop and the vision, reasoning capabilities and cognition can all be affected by MS as well.

There are four typical courses that multiple sclerosis can take – with the majority following what is termed the ‘Relapsing – Remitting’ course. People with this form of multiple sclerosis suffer periods of time when symptoms occur all at once and for a limited period. These periods are often followed by relatively symptom-free stretches of time. Multiple sclerosis can also present in a gradual build up, called ‘Primary-Progressive’. Roughly ten percent of MS patients suffer this form of multiple sclerosis

My name is Peter Anderson and this is a new entry to my WEB activities. The reality is that I spend far too much time on the WEB. I use my various, often crazy ideas, to keep my mind busy.

Settling in new long term....

After trialing a number of free hosting services, it seems I have all but settled into one of them.

A foyer, a menu, a doorway...

so far so good. :)
